Lyndsey
Nose: Packs a punch.
BBQ sweetcorn, smoked
sea salt and paprika
pork chops. Then the
wood, bags of oak,
sawmills in the height of
summer, cedar blocks.
Then a gentle menthol
note, linen bandages
and witch hazel.
Palate: Black cherries
and very dark chocolate.
Treacle cakes and
cinder toffee bars.
Aromatic lamb. Spices
build and wood tannins
take hold.
Finish: Long and punchy

  • keeps on giving and
    never lets go.
    Comments: Only one
    word: gorgeous.

Nose: Sugary sweet
with rhubarb crumble,
cherries in kirsch syrup,
geranium leaves and a
paper bag full of rum
'n’ raisin fudge. Tingling
spices with star anise
rounding it all up.
Palate: Star anise,
sandalwood, crushed
fennel seeds and
toasted chilli flakes.
Eventually a creaminess
joins with melted butter
and toffee popcorn.
Finish: That long, dry
texture at the back of
the throat when you’re
in the sauna.
Comments: Sweet,
spicy, creamy, spicy,
sweet, spicy, creamy,

Lyndsey
Nose: Cherry lips and
Parma violets, a little

water flavoured with
lime and pear. Neat
and strong elderflower
cordial, roast hazelnuts,
tweed picnic blankets.
Then beeswax polish,
vinyl records and

hints of sandalwood.
Palate: Very sweet
with Chocolate-coated
almonds, roast apple
slices with brown sugar.
Cold honey roast ham
and charcoal wafers.
Finish: Huge tannins
make it seriously
mouth-puckering.
Comments: Lacking
some cohesion.
Enjoyable though.

Nose: This is one fruity
Speyside rammed full
of green apple laces,
strawberry toothpaste
and Wrigley’s Juicyfruit
chewing gum. Hints
of liquorice and some
heather honey.
Palate: Candied fruits
have become sour
plums and baked
rhubarb with a slice of
carrot and walnut cake.
Touches of gorse
flower, cashew milk
and honeycomb.
Finish: A long, dry finish
with wisps of lavender
tea to round it all up.
Comments: A Speyside
that gives you every
possible element of
fruity – fresh, sour,
cooked and candied.

nutty side of this is
wonderfully engaging.

beautifully floral with
some notes of lavender,
aloe vera and lastly
strawberry laces.
