Step 24: Duplicate the Polygon 1
layer. Use Free Transform to scale
the copy up slightly, and move it
between the two words. Rotate it
so the top and bottom sides are hor-
izontal, and press Enter to commit
the transformation. Click on it with
the Direct Selection tool to select it,
and change the Stroke width to 8
pixels. Click back on the Polygon 1
layer to make it active, and use the
Type tool to add a 2 in the center of
the central polygon.
Step 25: Double-click the empty
area to the right of one of the text
shape layers in the Layers panel to
open the Layer Style dialog. Click
on Styles at the top of the list on
the left. In the list of preset styles,
open the Natural folder, and select
the Stone style. Click OK to apply
the style, and then Right-click on
the ƒx icon to the right of the layer’s
name. Select Scale Effects, reduce
the Scale to 25%, and click OK.
