Replace the verbs сиде�ть and лежа�ть with сади�ться/сесть and
ложи�ться/лечь, putting them first in the present tense, then in the
imperfective and perfective past.
For example:

Я сажу�сь нa стул. Я сади�лся нa стул. Я сел на стул.
Я лежу� на дива�не.
Я ложу�сь на дива�н. Я ложи�лся на дива�н. Я лёг на дива�н.

If the numeral is placed after the noun, it means that the number is
approximate: Они� е�хали часа� три ‘They travelled for about three
hours’. Any preceding preposition remains with the number: часо�в в
