EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES

BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP

MISKOLC, HUNGARY

JULY 13-19, 2023

Over 110 participants from 16 universities from

11 countries took part in the 13th edition of the

European Universities Badminton Championship,

which was hosted in the Hungarian city of Miskolc.

The competition, which took

place simultaneously with the

European Universities Water

Polo Championship, was

organised by the Hungarian

University Sports Federation

and University of Miskolc with

the contribution of Miskolc

University Athletics and Football

Club.

At the championship, EUSA was

represented by Zoltan Rakaczki

EUSA Executive Committee

Member, EUSA Technical

Delegate for Badminton Radomir

Jovovic, and EUSA Sports

Officer Eszter Gulyas.

On Sunday, July 16, the team

tournament competition

concluded with the University

of Nottingham bringing home

the championship trophy.

Being a strong opponent from

the start, remaining unbeaten

throughout the competition,

they played a great final against

the University of Warwick. The

result of the mixed doubles and

individual men’s and women’s
