Breakfast and Brews wristbands at
registration or by emailing info@
cerealcityathletics.com. Breakfast
and Brews wristbands will be avail-
able for sale at packet pick-up if
there are still some available.
Breakfast and Brews is available
for participants and spectators to
purchase. The CCA says: “We can’t
think of a better way to show your
support crew how much you love
them than by buying them a hot
breakfast and a cold beer.”
Breakfast and Brews includes a
breakfast spread with eggs, meat and
pancakes as well as a beer.
Refunds and Transfers
There are no refunds offered for
either event. Participants may defer
their registration to another year or
transfer their registration to another
runner. Transfers must be completed
at least three weeks before the event
date.
If a participant registers for the in-
person event and would like to trans-
fer to the virtual event, they may do
so up until the registration closes for
the the virtual event and vice versa.
To do so, participants must email
[email protected]
If the event is unable to occur in-
person, participants will automatical-
ly be transferred to the virtual event.
Charity Partner
The CCA organization is continu-
ing its relationship with its charity
partner – Talons Out Honor Flight.
Talons Out Honor Flight is the
Southwest Michigan hub for the
National Honor Flight Network.
They are the Honor Flight Michigan
connection in the lower peninsula.
The Talons Out Honor Flight
group flies World War II, Korean
War, Vietnam Era and terminally ill
veterans who reside in and around
Southwest Michigan to Washington,
DC at no charge to the Vets to visit
their memorial.
With an event so close to the 4th
of July, and having a military base
in Battle Creek’s own back yard,
the CCA organization says it feels
strongly about giving back to B.C.’s
local military community.
Over the past four years, CCA
has given over $31,000 to organiza-
tions that support veterans, includ-

ing Talons Out Honor Flight, Battle
Buddies and Veterans Helping
Veterans.
