In the 3rd month (Apr./May) of 744, a chief sent by the king of
Bukhara offered regional objects (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
In the 7th month (August) of 745, envoys from the king of Bukhara
offered gifts (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
In the 1st month (Feb./Mar.) of 750, envoys from the king of
Bukhara presented 100 horses (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
In the 9th month (Sep./Oct.) of 751, envoys from Bukhara offered
gifts (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
In the 8th month (Sep./Oct.) of 753, envoys from Bukhara offered
gifts (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5031).
In the 3rd month (Apr./May) of 759, an envoy from Bukhara was
received at the T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5031).


Wu-na-ho


Wu-na-ho^25 was situated on the left bank of the Amu Darya, south
of Bukhara.
On Feb.4, 615, the New Year’s Day, Emperor Yang of Sui gave a
great banquet for envoys from Wu-na-ho and other states (Sui shu 4:
9b;Wen-hsien t’ung-k’ao 338:47b).


Mu


Mu was situated on the left bank of the Amu Darya between Wu-
na-ho and the Aral Lake.
On Feb.4, 615, the New Year’s Day, Emperor Yang of Sui gave
a great banquet for envoys from Mu and other states (Sui shu 4:9b;
Wen-hsien t’ung-k’ao 338:48a).


Tokharia


Tokharia, in Chinese T’u-huo-lo, was situated on the left bank of
the middle course of the Amu-Darya, centred on the modern city
of Balkh.
