Engineering who were awarded grants from the National Science
Foundation. Recently, an article on “Math Anxiety as an Obstacle for
STEM Persistence” was accepted for review at the Journal of Educational
Research, and a paper was accepted on “Self-Construal as an Effect upon
Pedagogy in Northern New Mexico Hispanic and Native Cultures” at the
Society for Personality and Social Psychology in 2020.
Timothy J. Beck, PhD
Tim Beck is currently working as a Full-time Instructor at the
University of West Georgia. He has recently accepted a position of
Assistant Professor at Landmark College, where he will be collaborating
with students and faculty on initiatives stemming from their Center for
Neurodiversity. Tim’s research is situated at the intersection of science and
technology studies (STS), critical disability studies, and theoretical and
philosophical psychology, and his research has been published in academic
journals that include Journal of Phenomenological Psychology, Qualitative
Research in Psychology, Child and Youth Services, Subjectivity, and
Disability and Society. He is under contract with Routledge Press to
contribute to the book series Concepts for Critical Psychology:
Disciplinary Boundaries Re-thought. The working title of this book is
Control and Modulation Beyond the Individual: A Critical History of
Cybernetics in Psychology.
Jacob W. Glazier, PhD
Jake Glazier has a doctorate degree in Psychology: Consciousness and
Society from the University of West Georgia. He has his Master of Science
in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Western
Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology
