5 th EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY VOLLEYBALL

CHAMPIONSHIP

The 5th European University Volleyball Championship took

place from June 30 to July 4, 2005 in Tallinn, Estonia. 11

male and 11 women teams from 13 European countries took

part in the competition. Many students were actively in-

volved in the organisation and running of the event; among

them also volunteers from the EUSA training program. With

the professional staff it created a very positive and supportive

environment and very successful delivery. The titles of the

champions were won by the University of Latvia in men’s

and the Academy of Physical Education and Sport Gdansk in

women’s category.
