break out in acne pimples after eating dairy products, there could be
a link to the hormones present in cows’ milk. Stop dairy altogether
for 3 weeks. If your acne clears up, it’s related to dairy. If your acne
doesn’t clear up, it’s probably not related to dairy, and you should
consult a dermatologist.
Can I drink an occasional diet soda on the Perfect 10 Diet?
No, absolutely not. I do not encourage diet sodas on the Perfect 10 Diet
because of their artificial sweeteners. If you really crave soda, have
a regular organic soda made with real sugar, rather than high-
fructose corn syrup, and hit the gym before the sugar screws up your
hormones.
Can I chew sugar-free gum on the Perfect 10 Diet?
No. It contains artificial sweeteners. If you must chew gum, choose a
reduced-sugar variety.
I travel frequently. What can I eat on planes?
Airlines are notorious for their bad food. And I’m always given sweets
or margarine with my meals. Pack a snack, or buy some nuts or an
apple at the airport to take on board. On planes, choose an entrée
that has protein as the main food rather refined carbs (chicken
instead of pasta, for example).
