3 We have revealed it on a Blessed

Night—We have warned.

ي مٍ ٤

قرَ

ي ه

ِ

ف

4 In it is distinguished every wise

command.

ينلِسِرْا مُ

إ ۚ

ٓ

ا

نندِ عِ

ْ

ن

ِّ

رًا ممْ

َ

أ

5 A decree from Us. We have been

sending messages.

َّ

ن

ِ

إ ۚ َك

ِّ

بن ر َّ

ِّ

م

ً

ة

َ

محْ

َ

ۥ ر

َ

و

ُ

يعُ مِ ه

َّ

يمُ عَ لِ ٱلس

ْ

ٱل

6 As mercy from your Lord. He is the

Hearer, the Knower.

تِ برَ

ٰ

وَ

ٰ

مَ

َّ

ضِ رْ وَ ٱلس

َ

ْ

م ٱلأ

ُ

نت

ُ

ن ك

ِ

إ ۖ

ٓ

امَ

ُ

هَن

ْ

ا بَيمَوَ

َ

ينِنوقِ م ُّ

7 Lord of the heavens and the earth

and what is between them, if you

know for sure.

ىحْ يُ وَ

ُ

ه

َّ

لا

ِ

إ

َ

ه

ٰ

َ

ل

ِ

إ

ٓ

َ

ب ُّ رَ وَ مْ ۦ لا

ُ

ك ُّبر ۖ َ

ُ

يتمِيُوَ

مُ

ُ

كِئ

ٓ

ابَاءَ

َ

ينِلو َّ

َ

ْ

ٱلأ

8 There is no god but He. He gives

life and causes death—your Lord

and Lord of your ancestors of old.

ون

عَب

ْ

يَل

ٍّ

ك

َ

ى ش فِ مْ

ُ

ه

ْ

بَل

9 Yet they play around in doubt.

بْ قِ ف

َ

ى تِ تٱرْ

ْ

أ

َ

ءُ تمَيَ وْ

ٓ

امَ

َّ

ٱلس

ٍ

ين

ِ

ب م ُّ

ٍ

ان

َ

خ

ُ

د

ِ

ب

10 So watch out for the Day when the

sky produces a visible smoke.

ى ١١

ش

ْ

يَ غ

َ

ي مٌ ِل ۖ اسٱلن َّ

َ

ا بٌ أ

َ

ا ع َ ذ

َ

ذ

ٰ

ه َ

11 Enveloping mankind; this is a

painful punishment.

ا َن َّبر َّ ١٢

ْ

فشِ

ْ

ا ٱك

َّ

عَ ن

َ

عَ ذ

ْ

ابَ ٱل

َ

ون

ُ

نمِ

ْ

ؤا مُ

َّ

ن

ِ

إ

12 “Our Lord, lift the torment from us,

we are believers.”

َ

ٰ

ى

َ

ر

ْ

ك

ِّ

ٱلذ

ٌ

ين

ِ

ب م ُّ

ٌ

ول

جَ ادْ

َ

ق

َ

و

13 But how can they be reminded?

An enlightening messenger has

already come to them.

نجْ م َّ مٌ

َّ

عَ ل مُ

ُ

ال

ق وَ

ُ

ه

ْ

عَ ن

۟

اوْ

َّ

لوَ

َ

14 But they turned away from him,

and said, “Educated, but crazy!”

فاشِ

َ

ا ك

َّ

ن

ِ

إ

ِ

اب

َ

عَ ذ

ْ

ٱل

َ

ون

ُ

دئِ

ٓ

عَامْ

ُ

ك

َّ

ن

ِ

إ ۚ

ً

يلالِ

َ

ق

15 We will ease the punishment a

little, but you will revert.

ونمُقِ

نتا مُ

إ

16 The Day when We launch the

Great Assault—We will avenge.

ل

ْ

ب

َ

ا ق َّنتَ

ول

ر

17 Before them We tested the people

of Pharaoh; a noble messenger

came to them.

ۖ ٱلل

ٌ

أ

18 Saying, “Hand over Allah’s

servants to me. I am an honest

messenger to you.”
