1.14 Dual Steam Pressure System:
In Dual pressure system maximum extraction of heat value of exhaust gases is
possible. In this system as per temperature profile of the placing of high-pressure
boiler pressure parts are placed and low-pressure boiler pressure parts are placed
in the low temp side of the boiler to extract the available heat potential of the gases
leaving the high-pressure part sections. Hence two parameter superheated steam
is generated in the dual pressure system. High pressure (HP) steam is admitted
to the turbine inlet and low pressure (LP) steam is injected after certain stages of
turbine to contribute in power generation by the steam turbo-generator. This system
comparatively attracts higher installation cost.
1.15 Conclusion:
- Dual pressure system to be opted to extract the maximum available heat from
flue gases - Dual tapping to be considered at AQC Boiler to get the better quality of final
super-heated steam temperature so that maximum power can be generated
from TG. About 02 units per ton of clinker will be increased with dual tapping. - AQC boiler outlet &Cooler vent air recirculation shall be considered in design
stage at Cooler end with 100 DegC. Hot air recirculation will increase power
generation due to more heat available for steam generation. 100 % vent gases
