i.e. feeling of cold and cold limbs. The feeling of cold of the limbs usually extends to the upper
arms and thighs and not just hands and feet.
The tiredness is characterized by a feeling of weakness of the muscles, a desire to lie down and
sleepiness after meals, especially lunch. In Yang deficiency the tiredness is more likely to
manifest with mental depression as well.
The slight abdominal pain is caused by deficiency-Cold in the abdomen.
Treatment Principle
Strengthen the Spleen and warm the Middle.

ST-36 Zusanli, SP-3 Taibai, Ren-12 Zhongwan, BL-20 Pishu, BL-21 Weishu, Du-20 Baihui. All
with reinforcing method. Moxa must be used.
Explanation
- Du-20 with moxa tonifies and raises Yang. It can be used here to tonify Yang and lift the
spirit. This point has a powerful uplifting effect on the mood of a person and relieves
tiredness and depression. It would also be useful if there is chronic diarrhoea.
