Sang Piao Xiao Ootheca Mantidis 9 g

Long Gu Os Draconis 15 g

Gui Ban Plastrum Testudinis 15 g

Dang Gui Radix Angelicae sinensis 9 g

Ren Shen Radix Ginseng 9 g

Fu Shen Sclerotium Poriae cocos pararadicis 6 g

Yuan Zhi Radix Polygalae tenuifoliae 6 g

Shi Chang Pu Rhizoma Acori graminei 6 g

Explanation

• Sang Piao Xiao is astringent and stops leaking of urine and enuresis.


• Long Gu and Gui Ban are absorbing and help to restrain urine. They nourish
  Kidney-Yin and Long Gu also calms the Mind.


• Dang Gui helps the previous two to nourish Yin by nourishing Blood.


• Ren Shen and Fu Shen tonify Qi in order to control urine. Fu Shen also calms the Mind.


• Yuan Zhi and Chang Pu open the Heart orifices and calm the Mind.

Calming the Mind is necessary in enuresis or incontinence from Kidney-Yin deficiency as
Empty-Heat affecting the Pericardium and Triple Burner (Minister Fire) may affect the Bladder
function.

Variations

• If the symptoms and signs of Yin deficiency and Empty-Heat are very pronounced add
  the formula Zhi Bo Di Huang Wan Anemarrhena-Phellodendron-Rehmannia Pill.
