1 yeastcake
2 smalltablespoonfulssalt
1 tablespoonfulsugar
3 potatoes
1 tablespoonfullard

(a) Wash and pare the potatoes. Cover
with cold water. Boil until tender. Mash
thepotatoesinthesame waterin whichthey
areboiled. Letstanduntiljustluke-warm.
(b) Putinthesaltandsugar.
(c) Addthelardandyeastcake. Dissolve
thoroughly.
(d) Siftthe flourthoroughly andputinto
a pan. Make a hole in the middle of it.
Slowlypourinthepotatomixture. Mixwell.
(e) Dredge the hands well with flour.
