knowledge and higher education”


Dr Daryono completed his PhD in law from Law School, the Australia
National University in 2007. He is currently active in advocating open
movement for educational purposes. In 2010 he was a member of
international collaborative research on Open Education Resources
(OER) funded by International Development Research Center (IDRC).
The outcome of the research was the establishment of OERAsia.
Following the research on OER Asia, he is currently engaged in the
ongoing research on OER for development (ROER4D) funded by the
IDRC. Since 2012 he is a member of Open Education Consortium
(OEC) to advocate open education policy in Indonesia.

Sri Sediyaningsih is a senior lecturer in Communication Studies at
Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Terbuka (UT),
Indonesia. Completing undergraduate studies in Communication from
Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia; a Master of Science
and Doctor of Communication from University of Indonesia, Jakarta.
Her research interests are in communication technology for distance
learning purposes. She has long careers in various communication fields
as a newscaster in public television TVRI in this 90's era (1988-2001), a
facilitator and a Board of Experts in various professional associations.
Her latest book was entitled "net generation" published in 2015.
