Grilling Turkey Burgers with
Dried Cherries and Apples
Grilling is great in any season, but summertime makes grilling especially
appealing. These tasty turkey burgers, found in Chapter 9, are a nice change
from the traditional beef burger and can be eaten with or without a bun. The
kids will have a great time mixing the ingredients. Instead of round patties,
have each member of the family make their own patty in the shape they like.
Since you have the grill going, you can also slice the pineapple and put it on
the grill. Be sure to take small bites of pineapple and chew well because it’s a
fibrous food.
