8.Use the file or sanding pad to eliminate any
burs or rough edges left from drilling the
holes into the fish shape.

9.Apply liver of sulfur or an oxidizing solution
to the fish shape, chain, clasp, and jump
rings. It is very important to follow any safety
recommendations the manufacturer suggests
when using any chemicals.

10.After oxidizing the various pieces, use fine
steel wool to remove some but not all of the
oxidizing solution from the surface of the
fish shape, chain, clasp, and jump rings.
Rinse with water, dry, and rub with polishing
cloth.


11.To curve the silver fish, hold one end of the
fish shape in your hand and use the chain
nose pliers to hold the other end and gently
curve the silver. You can also use a bracelet
mandrel and rawhide mallet or a wooden
baseball bat to curve the fish shape around.
Set the fish shape aside.


12.Slide the silver beads and the pearl bead
onto the head pin.


13.Use the ruler to measure and mark^5 ⁄ 16 ”
above the top bead on the head pin. With
the wire cutters or tin snips, cut the head pin
wire^5 ⁄ 16 ” above the top bead.

14.Use the round nose pliers to bend the head
pin wire next to the top bead at a 90-degree
angle.
