KV2 Strikes Titanium
Owners impressed with KV2's compact boxes providing thumping audio
T
itanium Club opened its doors in early
December 2014 in Batam, which
is one of the largest islands within
the Riau archipelago of Indonesia. Batam
is also a popular holiday desti nati on for
Singaporeans as it is just a 40 minute ferry
ride from Singapore. The exchange rate
ensures that the Singapore dollar is stretched
to make eati ng, drinking and shopping in
Batam more cost eff ecti ve than back home.
Therefore, it is not surprising that Batam
with its abundance of seafood restaurants
and duty free shopping, also off ers variety
in the entertainment scene from pubs, live
performances, KTVs and dance clubs.
Muscling into the scene is Titanium Club,
opened by a group of young entrepreneurs.
The 900sqm club is able to handle a capacity
of 350 pax and is essenti ally a Dance Club
that is located within a shopping mall at
Harbour Bay. Jimmi Ho, one of the partners,
highlighted, “We expect Titanium to set a
standard in Batam and diff erenti ate itself
from the other clubs in the island. Premium
service, great ambience, experienced DJs and
of course, high performing sound and light is
what patrons can expect at the club.” With
Electronic Dance Music being the main genre,
the club att racts a young and energeti c
crowd.
The Look and Feel
The design theme at Titanium is that of
an industrial look thus the club features
bare walls, fl oors and ceiling. Some of the
walls have industrial pipes as part of the
decorati on and others feature LED strips.
