Yazhen finally remembers
that the man caught on
CCTV is Chairman An’s
physiotherapist. She
confronts Fengchong at
the gym where he works.
He admits to sabotaging
the canopy, and asserts
that Zhoumei was the
mastermind.
Zhihou warns Zaishuo
not to cheat on Yazhen. She
won’t forgive anyone who
hurts her mother.
Fuzi goes back to her
hometown to prepare for her
wedding. Before that, she
meets Fengchong discreetly,
and warns him not to call
her again. She says she will
call him if the need arises,
using Zhoumei’s phone, so
as to cover their tracks.
During dinner, Chairman
An informs everyone that
he and Fuzi will get married
that weekend. To the
bewilderment of the others
at the table, Yazhen gives
him her blessings.
Zhenxi finally tells
Yazhen her suspicions thatZaishuo is having an affair.
Yazhen says she will look
into it herself.
The next morning, Yazhen
tails Zaishuo. She finds him
cycling to a nearby bike rack,
and hailing a taxi after that.
She follows the taxi for a
while, but suddenly pulls
over. She is not prepared to
face the truth.
Zhoumei tells Zaixi that
she plans to leave the family
if Chairman An’s wedding
happens. Zaixi suggests
they unite against Fuzi, and
adds that she has already
called Zhoumei’s husband,
An Zaiju, to come back from
overseas.
Yazhen suggests keeping
the wedding simple, and
offers to plan the ceremony.
Chairman An consents. She
attempts to convince the
rest of the family to accept
the marriage.
Yazhen meets Qihao
to discuss Chairman An’s
marriage. When she invites
him for a drink, he senses
she is facing some issues
with her husband, and

Yazhen asks Zhihou if it’s
alright to cancel her art
lessons at Shengxi’s. Zhihou
realises there must be a
reason, and agrees.Yazhen calls both
Zaishuo and Shengxi and
arranges to meet for lunch.
Yazhen introduces Qihao
to her family. He hands
copies of a prenuptial
agreement to Fuzi and
Chairman An and reads
the terms aloud. If the
document is signed, Fuzi
will not be entitled to any
monetary or property from
the An family.
Even though Fuzi is
shocked, she pulls herself
together and signs the
agreement. Everyone except
Chairman An is stunned.
Zaishuo and Shengxi are
startled to see each other
at the restaurant. Yazhen
arrives and accuses them
both of having an affair.
Zaishuo tries to suggest
there is a misunderstanding
while Shengxi admits the
truth outright.
Yazhen gives Zaishuo an
ultimatum: to choose his
wife and daughter, or his
mistress. He agrees to stop
seeing Shengxi.
Zaixi picks Zaiju up from
the airport.
Chairman An is incensed
to see Zaiju. The latter
promises to leave with
Zhoumei and their son after
Chairman An’s wedding, on
condition he is given his
share of the inheritance.
Fuzi retorts that she won’t
let Zaiju make threats
against Chairman An.
On the wedding day, Zaiju
shows up casually dressed.
Chairman An thanks the
guests for coming.
The topic of the
meditation class is
forgiveness. The teacher
guides the class to
imagine a person who
is unforgiveable. Yazhen
closes her eyes, and tears.
Qihao watches in concern.
Chairman An and
Fuzi return from their
honeymoon. She suggests
hiring another helper, a
friend of hers from her
hometown. Meanwhile, shetells Yazhen she will take

Zaixi insists Chairman An
should not give Fuzi any
control over his finances,
and offers to leave the
house right away if he gives
her two billion won. He
warns her not to interfere
with his affairs.
Yazhen tells Zhoumei
that Fengchong has accused
her of being the mastermind
behind the canopy collapse.
Zhoumei is so angry at being
falsely accused that she
wants to call the police.
Yazhen demands Zaishuo
return home after work at
a specified time every day,
and informs him that she
will track his every move. He
is also to sleep in the guest
room.
Zaishuo reads through
the many text messages he
and Shengxi have sent each
other, and sobs. He misses
her dearly.
Yazhen hands Fuzi a list
of important family dates
to observe. She also asks
Fuzi to apologise to Yunkui
for throwing him out in the
rain. She explains that he’s
a sensitive boy and tends to
keep to himself.
Determined to bear a
child for Chairman An, Fuzi
cooks nutritious food to
boost his health.
Yazhen gives Qihao a
book of poetry, without
realising he is the author of
the book. He autographs it
for her.
Zaiju returns home
drunk. He shouts at
Chairman An that he was
framed for murder, and that
Fuzi had plotted to get into
the family.
Fuzi helps Chairman An
into his room. She returns a
moment later and threatens
Zaiju. She tells him to
behave himself, or witness
Zhoumei and Yunkui being
thrown out of the house.96
